1, My computer will not turn on |
|
If your computer will not turn on make sure that you check the following,
- Is the power turned on?
- Has the fuse blown in the plug?
- Has a lead been pulled out from the unit?
- Is there a power cut? (Yes we have been called out to a power cut!)

2. My screen will not turn on |

Is it turned off?

Has the power lead become dislodged?

Has the video cable become detached from the computer?

Is the computer in standby mode?

3. I cannot connect to the internet |
|
There are many reasons why you are unable to connect to the internet, normally a restart of your computer is enough to clear any problems.
Sometimes it is not your computer it can be the provider or a network error.
if you have a broadband connection, just turn it off for 10 seconds and then power it back up. |
4. My mouse will not move |

If your mouse will not move check the following

5. My screen has frozen |
|
A frozen screen is normally an indication of your computers processor not being able to cope with the workload, try the following
- Close some applications to free up memory
- Wait a while to see if it catches up
- Do not keep pressing any buttons this will only increase the memory load
If all else fails try pressing the following key combination Ctrl, Alt & Del this will launch the task manager program from where you can choose to end programmes or restart your computer.
